Job Title: Director, Marketing Operations

Job Summary: 

MixMode is looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to join our team either remotely or in our Santa Barbara office.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing operations, campaign execution, data analysis, and marketing technology. You will be responsible for optimizing our marketing processes, managing marketing automation platforms, analyzing data to identify trends and insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful marketing initiatives.

What you’ll be doing (responsibilities):

  • Marketing Automation: Oversee and manage our marketing automation platform, ensuring seamless execution and optimization of marketing campaigns, lead nurturing, and customer engagement programs.
  • Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, execute, and measure the performance of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, website, etc.).
  • Data Analysis: Analyze marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing campaigns, improving conversion rates, and increasing ROI.
  • Manage analytics, reporting and team dashboards to measure effectiveness of the marketing channels.
  • Craft strategies for  digital, advertising and creative  with a solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords
  • Reporting and Metrics: Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key marketing metrics, campaign performance, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve marketing processes, workflows, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • CRM Management: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of customer and prospect data within the CRM system.
  • Marketing Technology: Stay updated on the latest marketing technology trends, tools, and best practices, and make recommendations for adopting new technologies that can enhance marketing operations and results.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including sales, product, and content, to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing activities, messaging, and campaigns.
  • Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B tests and experiments to optimize marketing strategies, messaging, and tactics.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on marketing tools, systems, and processes.
  • Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new SDRs, manage lead qualification and oversee SDR team metrics

What you’ll need to bring (qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years  in marketing operations, campaign execution, and data analysis, preferably in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
  • Proficient in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address sales process challenges
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels (email marketing, social media, content marketing, SEO) and best practices.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology trends and emerging tools.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
